The International Cricket Council (ICC) is the apex body of cricket at international level. It's headquarter is situated in Dubai. But how many of us know that the name of ICC is different during the starting days of Cricket. Previously ICC stood for Imperial Cricket Conference.
Laws Of Cricket -
In 1744 the first 'Law of Cricket' was introduced in which all the rules regarding size, height and width of the stumps, bat, pitch were decided. The rules or codes of cricket were drawn up by ' Star and Garter Club'. When the ICC was founded in 1909 there were only a few countries like England, Australia and South Africa were the members. Later on countries like West Indies in 1928 New Zealand in 1930 India in 1932 and Pakistan in 1952 become the test nations.
