Legends League Cricket (LLC) 2022 -  

The second season of Legends League Cricket (LLC) is all set to start from September 16 with a special match between India Maharajas Vs World Giants iat Eden Garden, Kolkata. Legends League Cricket is a T20 league where retired international cricketers will play for their respective teams.

The tournament is dedicated to the 75th year of Indian Independence. India Maharajas will be captained by former Indian Cricket Team captain and current BCCI President Sourav Ganguly while World Giants will be led by  former England Cricket Team skipper Eoin Morgan. This time over hundred retired  international players will participate in LLCT20 second season.

The full schedule of LLC 2022 second season has been announced by LLC Officials. The second season of LLC will be played in six cities of India.(Kolkata, Lucknow, Delhi, Jodhpur, Cuttack, Rajkot). Total 15 matches will be played between four teams. Sourav Ganguly will be captain of India Maharajas in the special match against World Giants at Eden Gardens.  

The main tournament will start from September 17th  between India Capitals and Gujarat Giants.

What is Legends League Cricket (LLC) ?

Legends League Cricket (LLC) is a T20 format tournament which features many retired cricketers from different countries. The players from countries like India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, England, Australia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, South Africa, Ireland and West Indies are going to participate in the second season of Legends League Cricket.

The first season of Legends League Cricket (LLC) was played between 20 January to 29 January in Oman. All matches are held at Al-  Amerat Cricket Stadium in Muscat, Oman. In first season of LLC 2022 total three teams have played 7 matches. World Giants won the first season of LLC by beating Asian Lions.

Legends League Cricket Season 2 (LLC)  - 

After completion of season one of Legends League Cricket, teams and dates of second season have been announced by LLC officials. The main tournament of Legends League Cricket season 2 will begin from 17th September and the final will be played on 8th October. 

This year tournament format and teams are changed. There will be new teams , new players in the second season of Legends League Cricket 2022. The LLC 2022 will begin with a special match between India Maharajas Vs World Giants on 16th September at Kolkata.

Indian women's cricket team bowler Jhulan Goswami  is roped as a women empowerment ambassador of Legends League Cricket to promote the women's empowerment initiative. 

Commissioner of Legends League Cricket- 

Former Indian cricket team member and former head coach of India's men's cricket team Mr Ravi Shastri is appointed as League commissioner of LLC T20.

Legends League Cricket 2022 Final Won by India Capitals -

India Capitals won the Legends League Cricket 2022

India Capitals under the leadership of Gautam Gambhir won the second season of Legends League Cricket 2022. In the final match of Legends League Cricket 2022 India Capitals defeated Bhilwara Kings by 104 runs at Sawai Mansingh Stadium Jaipur. 

India's Capitals batsman Ross Taylor played an outstanding knock of 82 runs in the final of Legends League Cricket 2022 and for his terrific performance he has awarded with the Player of the Match award while Bhilwara King's Yusuf Pathan was awarded with the Player of the Series Award.
