Suryakumar Yadav also known as SKY is one of the most talented and consistent players of the Indian Cricket team. He is the new 360° player of world cricket. Suryakumar Yadav was born on 14 September, 1990 in the middle class family in Gazipur City in Uttar Pradesh. His father Ashok Kumar Yadav was an electrical engineer in BARC. During his childhood days Suryakumar Yadav developed an interest in cricket and badminton. But he has chosen cricket for his career. When he was 10 year old his father shifted to Mumbai for his job in BARC.
Suryakumar Yadav's cricket journey starts from Dilip Vengsarkar' Cricket Academy in Mumbai. He plays for Mumbai Cricket team in domestic cricket. Surya Kumar made his first- class debut against Delhi during 2010-11 Ranji trophy season. After his consistent performances with Mumbai Cricket team he was bought by Mumbai Indians in 2012 IPL Auctions. In that season of IPL has not get many chances to play for his team.
Again in 2014 IPL Auctions he got an IPL contract from Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) where his career started to turn around. Suryakumar Yadav has played 54 IPL matches and scored 608 runs with strike rate of 131.8 and an average of 22.59. His performance in the KKR team has been impactful and consistent between 2014-2017. The year 2018 was a year when he was bought again by his old franchise Mumbai Indians at a price of 3.2 crores.
