ICC WORLD CUP 2023 OPENING CEREMONY

The opening ceremony of ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 will be held on 04 October at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. October 04 will be Captains' Day and followed by a grand show with laser lights and fireworks. There will be a performance of actors and singers including Ranveer Singh, Arijit Singh, Shreya Ghosal and veteran Asha Bhosle in opening ceremony at 7 pm IST.  The captains of all 10 teams will present at opening ceremony. The fans who has taken tickets for England vs New Zealand match can only able to witness opening ceremony. 


 ICC WORLD CUP 2023 VENUES

ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 will be going to play in ten different stadiums across India while first and second semi-finals will be played at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The Final will held at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

According to reports, ICC instructed all the world cup stadiums to keep boundary sizes more than 70 meters considering dew factors can play a role in the results of the matches.

The mascots will be a male and female duo named "Tonk" and "Blaze" from the fictional cricketing utopia called Crictoverse. It will represents unique features and also symbolizes both gender equality and gender diversity, ICC officially  announced mascots for upcoming cricket world cup.

The most awating anthem for all cricket fans has been launched on September 20, titled "Dil Jashn Bole"composed by Pritam and lyrics were given by Shlok Lal and Saaveri Verma while the anthem was sung by many singers including Pritam, Nakash Aziz, Shreeram Chandra, Amit Mishra, Jonita Gandhi, Akasa Singh and Charan. The anthem song feature actor Ranveer Singh.
